Why is she so freaking awesome? Since I’m feeling very listy:
1. You know that cliche saying about being “true to yourself”? She’s basically the non-cliche personification of this. I think back five years, when I was twelve and in seventh grade, and I was not nearly as secure in my identity as she is now.
2. She’s articulate and honest. She has a very unique voice, and a mature writing style. Some of the vocab she uses is surprising for her age.
3. She has a sense of style. This, of course, can be inferred, considering that her blog is based on fashion. But still. And, this ties in with #1, because it takes a lot of confidence to wear some of the stuff she wears.
4. This rap is SO win and hilarious (and references Queen). I also love how right after she stops rapping, she goes back to being completely serious:

I basically wish she was my little sister.
(EDIT: Recently she posted a blog about how she doesn’t want people to write about her. Although I understand her reasoning, I really don’t think that my own personal raving is going to promote her any more. Especially since “style rookie” has been looked up almost 5 million times on Google.)
How moderate of me.

1. I’m honest.
2. I try to be a good listener.
3. I do community service outside of what’s required in school.
4. I recycle.
Reasons why I’m a not-so-good person:
1. I’m overly lethargic.
2. Recently I’ve found that I become jealous easily.
3. I swear more than I would like.
4. I habitually lie.
